Ops, freight, and finance teams burned time chasing scale tickets and reconciling buy/sell; month-end spikes delayed invoicing. An agentic workflow now handles tool calls for TMS status, proof-of-delivery retrieval, portal/EDI fetches, and safe, read-only queries into source systems. We enforced PII scrubbing on ingest, human-in-the-loop for sensitive actions, and audit logs on every tool call.
