Privacy policy

I keep instrumentation lightweight. This page explains exactly what data is collected, why it’s collected, and how to opt out.

What I track

  • Plausible for aggregate page metrics (no cookies, no personal data).
  • Reb2B to understand which teams browse the site; it only uses business IP lookups and never stores names, emails, or device fingerprints.
  • PostHog for product analytics and session context. It runs in EU data residency (`us.i.posthog.com`) with person_profiles limited to identified sessions.

None of the above store form submissions or upload files—this site doesn’t run a database.

How data is used

Analytics help me answer: “Which case studies do hiring panels read?” and “Did a reliability-focused CTA perform better than an evals-focused CTA?” They do not feed ad networks or enrichment services.

  • Retention is capped at 6 months for Reb2B and 12 months for PostHog.
  • No data is shared with third parties besides those processors.
  • You can block the scripts via any content blocker; the site still works.

Your choices

  • If you need a PostHog session removed, message me via LinkedIn or the Techjays contact channel and I’ll purge it.
  • Use a VPN or tracker blocker to opt out of Reb2B business-IP lookups.
  • If you prefer zero telemetry, request a PDF export during any direct engagement.
